Throughout their final year at Bridges, students explore the stories, traits, and influence of Greek gods and goddesses. Now, as spring approaches, that learning will be on full display.
On May 21, at 6:00 PM, we will gather at our new campus in Northwest Portland for the 2026 Top God Spring Showcase, where our 8th graders will take the stage to present original speeches or skits. Each student will make their case for why their chosen deity should “rule” over Bridges in the coming year.
This is more than just a presentation — it’s a celebration of student growth. Our students demonstrate:
- Public speaking and persuasion skills
- Creativity through performance and visuals
- Confidence, body language, and stage presence
Top God attendees will vote for the most compelling performance. At the end of the event, the winning god will be announced.
This is a truly special milestone for our graduating 8th graders, marking the end of their middle school journey as they prepare for what’s next.
