Celebrating our 25th Year

Our admissions process begins with an admissions tour for parents/guardians (and school district representatives when applicable). Tours last approximately one hour and include admissions information, a student-led tour of the school building, and time for questions and answers.

The admissions tour and meeting will last approximately one hour.

Please note: these tours are for adults only; do not bring potential students. Students will have an opportunity to visit Bridges later in the application process.

Academics

Bridges’ students enjoy a typical middle school curriculum, transformed to meet their individual needs.

Bridges Middle School provides an individualized, comprehensive, culturally sensitive and age-appropriate curricula designed to teach concepts, information, and skills based on the social, cognitive, emotional, and experience level of each of its students.

Learning Approach

Students are not expected to ‘pick up’ material. Instead, they are taught how to learn using effective individualized instruction in reading, writing, science, social studies, and mathematics.

Measuring Success

Our goal is to prepare students for a successful transition to high school.
